Getting Started

When you first open Sympt, the onboarding flow will guide you through setting up your conditions, medications, and symptoms. After that, logging is as simple as tapping a button on your home screen or Apple Watch.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is my data stored?
All data is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud backup in Settings, your data is also backed up to your personal iCloud account. We never see or access your data.
Does Sympt require an account or subscription?
No. There is no account, no subscription, no in-app purchases, and no ads. All features are included from the start.
How do I generate a report for my doctor?
Tap the Export tab, choose a date range (7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or all time), and tap Generate. A PDF report will be created that you can share, print, or save.
Does it work on Apple Watch?
Yes. After onboarding on your iPhone, the Apple Watch app will sync automatically. You can log symptoms, pain, meals, and medications directly from your wrist.
Can I delete all my data?
Yes. Go to Settings and scroll to the bottom. Tap "Delete all data" to permanently remove everything from your device and Apple Watch.
Is Sympt a medical device or diagnostic tool?
No. Sympt is a personal tracking tool to help you record and share information with your medical team. It does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. Always follow your doctor's instructions.
